The humanitarian crisis is tearing Ukraine apart. Aggravated by the Russian invasion, the hunger problem leaves millions of Ukrainians — many of whom are children — malnourished and cut off from access to basic necessities. With an unrelenting focus on helping those in need, Ukrainian Food Foundation is out to gather and distribute food help for Ukraine, including across the most war-affected regions. We are here to take action to save lives!

Ukrainian Food Foundation is a non-profit food bank in Ukraine that has gathered and distributed millions of meals, tons of personal hygiene products and plenty of medicines since its inception. But now, as Ukraine is being ravaged by the full-scale war, no effort is great enough.

We are dedicated to doing everything we can to get MORE humanitarian aid to help MORE families and end the hunger problem in MORE Ukrainian cities and villages. By collecting surplus food, our staff and volunteers contribute to keeping starvation in check while ensuring more people are provided with nutritious meals. Whether they are forcibly displaced or struggle to get food in hotspots, our commitment to helping is equally strong for everyone in Ukraine.

Providing for the most vulnerable population groups that need help in Ukraine

Ukrainian Food Foundation redirects surplus food from manufacturers, retailers and international organizations that donate food to Ukraine to the most vulnerable population groups. With the support of our volunteers and the established humanitarian aid network, we aim to relieve hunger among:

• Low-income and large families with children
• Orphans
• Youth with disabilities
• Single mothers
• The elderly
• People with hearing and speech disorders and other disabilities
• Health professionals

Over the last months, more than 7 million Ukrainians have been forced to leave their homes to find a safe haven within the country. Many of them are now seeking the support of a food charity in Ukraine, and Ukrainian Food Foundation is always ready to step in.

From nutritious food kits to clothes, we deliver essentials to internally displaced people throughout the country. We never say ‘No’ to those bearing the brunt of the war, as seeking help from a charity in Ukraine is often the last hope for many of them. And we are here to keep this hope alive, no matter what.
